Four Canadian stops confirmed for 2026 as part of the Carvana PPA Tour’s largest international schedule ever

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Feb. 24, 2026) — PPA Canada, operated by Steve Deakin Pickleball, today announced its inaugural slate of Canadian events for the 2026 season, marking a historic moment for the growth of professional pickleball in the country. As part of the Carvana PPA Tour’s newly expanded global calendar, Canada will host four PPA-sanctioned tournaments in 2026, offering Canadian pros and aspiring pros unprecedented opportunities to compete for PPA ranking points on home soil.

The 2026 Canadian schedule will feature a mix of PPA 125 and PPA 250 events in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Toronto, bringing world-class pickleball to major Canadian markets and showcasing the sport’s rapid rise nationwide. This announcement follows the Carvana PPA Tour’s release of its 2026–2027 global schedule, which includes more than 25 international events across PPA Asia, PPA Australia, PPA Italy, and now PPA Canada — the most globally diverse season in tour history.

“Canada has a passionate and fast-growing pickleball community, and we’re thrilled to bring top-tier PPA competition to players and fans across the country,” said Steve Deakin, CEO of Steve Deakin Pickleball and PPA Canada Tour Operator. “These events will give Canadian athletes a clear pathway to the global stage while delivering an unforgettable experience for fans. It’s an exciting moment for the sport in Canada, and we’re just getting started.”

The Canadian tournaments will contribute to the unified global PPA ranking system, allowing athletes to earn valuable points that count toward qualification for major events, including the Pickleball World Championships and the PPA Finals. The launch of PPA Canada comes at a time of unprecedented momentum for the sport. The Carvana PPA Tour continues to break attendance and broadcast records, with recent U.S. events drawing historic crowds and viewership. The addition of Canadian stops reflects both the sport’s explosive growth and the country’s increasing influence within the global pickleball landscape.

Full event details, including dates, venues, and player registration information, will be released in the coming weeks.
